This year Outward Bound Croatia plans to add the most provocative and challenging program possible. The Piracy Pages is a corporate leadership-training program designed to mimic the effects of real yachts in potentially hazardous situations transiting the waters of the gulf of Aden. Brought to us by expert yachtsman and Captain, James Bender who transited the Somalia coast during the 2007 season. Based on his experience there, we have found that the yearly convoy of yachts that pass through this inhospitable region is a useful training method for teaching group dynamics leadership and modular team interaction.

Similar to the convoys of WWII, where ships and captains had to maintain speed, courses and distance from other vessels in order to run the blockades of the enemy, so will our groups. Our convoy will take appropriate safety measure, chart course and navigational route and plan protocols for what should happen in case pirates were to approach the vessel.
From our base in Biograd, we will provide basic sailing and navigation training as well as boating safety practical man overboard drills and discus discuss potential hazards at sea. This course was not meant to be a weekend yacht trip or a getaway for your staff. The time spent on board will be rigorous but when it all over there will be a dinner and award ceremony to congratulate all participants for completing the course.

Every year attacks are made on vessels around the world, just as attacks are made on businesses. How we choose to react to these attacks mean life or death for our businesses. In stressful situations time can be short and reaction swift. Proper training and know how are the basis of success. We will teach though our method:

· how to manage communication.
· How to monitor threats and assess potential problems.
· How to manage stress.
· Debrief strategy and positive reflective communication
