Classic 8-day courses

Classic eight-day courses are the core programs of Outward Bound school. These week-long courses provide many opportunities for adventure, self-discovery and fun. You will get to know different parts of Croatia, tackle the challenges of multi-day expedition on land or at sea and enjoy in a different, more dynamic way of life, together with your fellow teammates.

There are three types of basic course:

Velebit Adventure – spend a week in the wilderness of Velebit, enjoy nature up close and personal. Try out sleeping in the outdoors, under starlight, engage yourself in the challenges of rock-climbing and emabrk on multi-day expedition including ascent to one of the Velebit’s famous ridges. more…

Sailing Expedition Falkuša – get to know the traditional methods of seamanship. Set sail on Gajeta Falkuša, most famous of all traditional croatian vessels, used for centuries for the challenging waters of South Adriatic. more….

Multi-element adventure – This course was designed as an introductory course for people who would like to learn more about the adventures that Croatia has to offer. It is a 8 day multi-element course that starts in the caves of the interior, spans the high Velebit mountains for experience doing technical rock climbing, and ends on the coast sailing on traditional Croatia sailing vessels from the island of Rab. more….
